Remove nr of comments indications on blog sidebar

Hi,

I want to remove the indication that appears on the sidebar of the number of comments that a post has.

I've tried this CSS code and it didn't worked:

AND

.post-footer .post-links .icon-comment-empty-fa { display: none; }
